The University of Strathclyde in Greece – Executive MBA and Exec. MBA with a specialism in Shipping
International Management Studies (IMS) has been operating in Greece since 1996 and on March 2017 it became a College (No. 46327/K1/ 17 – 3 – 2017 Ministry of Education and No. 1057/B’ National Gazette) approved by the Greek Ministry of Education. In 2020 the collaboration between the BUSINESS SCHOOL and the department of Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering (NAOME) of the University of Strathclyde was decided to take place in order to offer the prestigious Executive MBA with SHIPPING. The dpt of NAOME spans more than 100 years of existence by which time they have become a key provider of Marine Technology expertise throughout the UK, and worldwide. They have built upon Glasgow’s rich heritage of naval architecture and shipbuilding, providing first class graduates and research for the maritime, oil & gas and offshore renewables industries across the world. The department of NAOME research supports industry and society in useful and innovative ways. Over the last twenty years NAOME has made a major contribution to the safety of ships around the world while also researching a wide range of challenges from reducing carbon emissions from shipping and optimizing ship operations to developing new types of floating wind turbines and new tools for modeling fluid loads on floating structures.
